We work directly with different industries including Automotive, Energy, Aeronautics, Banking & Insurance, Telecom & Multimedia, and Rail; offering services ranging from project design development to test/validation, programming, implementation, and manufacturing.

ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, we are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers with strong experience in battery systems, electromechanical product design, and manufacturing support. The main focus is on the supporting sustaining efforts on the existing product generation (what's shipping at this time to customers). This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on development, CAD excellence, supplier collaboration, and solving complex mechanical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Converting short term Deviations into long term Engineering Change Orders
• Adjusting drawings per supplier feedback
• Design changes to address field failures or manufacturing inefficiencies 
• Design updates/documentation changes to lower product cost

Requirements

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Engineering degree: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace.
• 6+ years of product design experience.
• Experience with batteries, energy storage, EV, or PCBA packaging.
• Strong CAD skills: Onshape, NX, SolidWorks.
• PFMEA, PPAP, DFM experience
• GD&T Standards (ASME Y14.5) and interpretation
• Advanced English.
