Sperasoft is looking for a talented, experienced 3D vegetation Artist who can create different types of plants and organic (trees, bushes, grass, etc.). If you are keen on vegetation creation and would like to be a part of a great team, working on new IP, we are waiting for you!
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and create real-time vegetation game assets going through full 3D pipeline (modeling, sculpting, texture creation, retopology, UV, etc.) in Unreal Engine 5;
- Develop sets of plants for different biomes;
- Analyze, plan, and collect references for the assets; work with concepts/references and according to the guideline;
- Ensure a proper integration for every asset you create considering technical and gameplay constraints;
- Obtain Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasks;
- Continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and/or in-house tools;
- Coordinate with Senior and/or Lead Artists with mentoring Junior 3D Artists as well as sharing best project practices with them;
- Contribute to the team-oriented environment
Requirements
- Experience in vegetation modelling in game industry;
- Strong understanding of 3D modeling tools used in vegetation production (either 3D Max, Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Speed Tree or Houdini);
- Strong understanding of Texture creation tools (either Photoshop, Substance Designer or Substance Painter)
- Experience in any Game Engine, such as Unreal Engine 5, Unity or others is a plus;
- High-poly sculpting in Zbrush is a plus;
- Good understanding of modern pipelines and requirements for game development;
- Teamwork skills;
- A creative, collaborative and innovative mindset;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
