David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit a German speaking Account Manager to join their team in Greece.

 

Position: Account Manager

Location: Athens, Greece 

Work model: on-site (hybrid 3/2 after 6 mo probation period, performance based)

Employment type: Full-time

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage relationships with new and existing business customers for a leading e-commerce platform

  • Support onboarding and registration of small-to-medium and high-cap business accounts

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers through phone and email communication

  • Conduct outbound outreach and follow-up activities to drive account activation and engagement

  • Support initial account setup and guide customers through platform features and services

  • Promote feature adoption and encourage increased platform usage and customer spend

  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to account growth and retention

  • Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline updates within internal systems

  • Work towards individual sales, account activation, and productivity targets

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams within a multicultural and fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or near-native level in German, with fluency in English (minimum B2 level)

  • Previous experience in Account Management, Sales, Customer Success, or Business Development is considered a strong advantage

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

  • Target-driven mindset with ability to work towards KPIs and performance goals

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude

  • Ability to create business opportunities and maintain long-term customer relationships

  • Team player with ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment

  • Comfortable working in outbound communication and customer-facing environment.
