Accounting Analyst
Join Stryker’s finance team and contribute to key accounting activities that support accurate financial reporting across global operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment while partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions and reporting systems. If you enjoy reconciling complex accounts, analyzing financial data, and driving accuracy throughout the accounting cycle, this role provides broad exposure to core accounting processes.
What You Will Do
Perform account reconciliations for assigned entities and maintain timely resolution of reconciling items.
Investigate and resolve unsupported balances, documenting findings and corrective actions.
Prepare journal entry calculations and supporting documentation in accordance with accounting standards.
Analyze financial statements and identify variances, unusual transactions, or potential risks.
Support internal business partners by providing journal entry and reconciliation backup documentation upon request.
Escalate aged items, unusual activity, and control concerns to management for timely review and resolution.
Execute month-end close activities, ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
Apply corporate accounting policies and comply with U.S. GAAP and local accounting requirements across all assigned activities.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role within a multinational or matrixed organization.
Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience within a shared services environment supporting a large or global organization.
Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE.
Experience supporting financial reporting processes within organizations with complex reporting structures.
