Accounts Payable Associate

- Audit and process carrier invoices accurately and efficiently.

Review, classify, and validate documents using our document processing technology.
- Take ownership of assigned accounts and help ensure payments stay on track.
- Serve as a point of contact for carriers and assist with payment questions and account issues.

Provide friendly, professional, and solutions focused customer service.
- Work collaboratively with teammates and other departments to resolve issues and keep freight payments moving.
- Manage a higher volume of phone communication on designated days, typically 20–30 calls, two to three days per week.
- Develop a strong understanding of Spot’s Accounts Payable processes and the transportation industry.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or GED.
- Associate's degree in business or accounting/finance is preferred.
- 2+ years of A/P or billing experience; experience in a logistics or third-party organization is a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail – You take pride in accuracy and catching the small things that matter.
- A problem-solving mindset – You’re comfortable digging into an issue, finding answers, and working toward a solution.
- A customer-service mentality – You communicate professionally, listen to concerns, and enjoy helping people.
- The ability to multitask – You can balance invoices, emails, phone calls, and account responsibilities while staying organized.
- A sense of urgency – You understand priorities, stay on top of deadlines, and follow through to get the job done.
