The KSC Music Department is searching for adjunct faculty to teach piano related courses beginning this fall semester.

Piano students at KSC are studying for the B.M. Performance, Technology, Composition or Education degrees, or are enrolled in a B.A. Music degree and will work with this faculty member to prepare end-of-semester juries and a workshop performance.  

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver course content

  • Prepare Syllabus and course materials

  • Assess student learning throughout the semester

  • Assign grades

  • Refer students to support services if needed

  • Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students

  • Participate in appropriate department/unit meetings

  • Abide with USNH and KSC policies

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Music

  • Expertise in area of Piano

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy or equivalent

Compensation Pay Range:

$800 per credit or $840 per credit for terminal degree
