DMU Dubai invites Expressions of Interest from experienced educators and professionals to join its Adjunct Professional Pool – Foundation International Year Zero (IYZ).
Purpose of the Adjunct Professional Pool
The pool enables the University to engage qualified practitioners on a flexible, needs-based basis to support foundation-level teaching and academic development.
This call is not linked to a specific vacancy and does not guarantee immediate teaching allocation.
Disciplines / Areas of Interest
Expressions of interest are welcomed in:
  • Foundation-level subject delivery
  • Academic skills and study skills development
  • Student transition and preparedness programmes
  • Support for international foundation pathways
Nature of Engagement
Adjunct Professionals may contribute to:
  • Delivery of foundation-level teaching and academic support sessions
  • Facilitation of workshops and skills-based modules
  • Student mentoring and academic guidance
  • Assessment and evaluation of coursework
Person Profile
Applicants should demonstrate:
  • Relevant academic or professional background
  • Experience supporting foundation or pre-university students (desirable)
  • Strong communication and student-support skills
  • Commitment to inclusive and student-centred education
Applicants with a Master’s or PhD qualification are encouraged to apply, and each application will be considered on its individual merits for adjunct appointments.
