Administrative – Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / KYC II Experience: 3–5 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Location: Chennai Work Mode: WFO Job Summary We are looking for experienced AML professionals with strong exposure to Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions, AML regulations, and financial crime investigation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in monitoring transactions, identifying suspicious activities, analyzing transaction patterns, and conducting detailed investigations. Key Responsibilities Perform AML Transaction Monitoring and review transactions for suspicious activity and financial crime red flags. Analyze large volumes of transaction data to identify unusual patterns, anomalies, and potential suspicious activity. Investigate transaction alerts and conduct detailed research using customer records, transaction information, and public-domain sources. Apply sound judgment and attention to detail while assessing potential financial crime risks. Identify and escalate suspicious transactions in line with AML policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare clear and accurate investigation findings and documentation. Collaborate effectively with internal teams and communicate findings clearly, both verbally and in writing. Required Skills Strong understanding of AML Transaction Monitoring regulations and processes. Hands-on experience in Core Transaction Monitoring. Good knowledge of Sanctions and Sanctions Screening/Filters. Strong understanding of financial transactions and transaction analysis. Experience identifying AML/financial crime red flags. Strong analytical, investigation, research, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with SWIFT MT103 / MT202 transactions. Experience with Wire Transfers. Exposure to Correspondent Banking. Knowledge of Actimize or similar AML monitoring tools. Important Candidate Screening Criteria Do NOT consider candidates primarily working in: Fraud Screening Data Breach / Data Compromise Customer Identity Compromise Periodic Review Customer Onboarding / KYC Also avoid profiles where the candidate's primary experience involves SAR activities within Fraud. Priority should be given to candidates with experience in: Core AML Transaction Monitoring Sanctions AML Filters Transaction Monitoring & Analysis SWIFT MT103 / MT202 Wire Transfers Correspondent Banking Experience 3–5 years of relevant AML/Transaction Monitoring experience
