Adult Protective Services Case Manager Supervisor

Pay Grade: L

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Manages staff through coordinating and planning.

• Evaluates the level of risk to clients and takes appropriate action to ensure safety.

• Monitors and organizes work to ensure quality and adherence.

• Reviews, approves/disapproves and/or renders decisions.

• Maintains and shares knowledge.

• Ensures accurate, timely records and reports.

• Ability to work effectively with personnel at multiple levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while effectively and accurately managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Ability to develop and make presentations on behalf of the organization.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, DAS Data Systems, etc.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND three (3) years case management experience; 

• Two (2) years of experience at lower level Adult Protective Services Case Manager 3 (SSP172) or position equivalent.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: : Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following education/skills/experience:

• At least 2 years experience in Adult Protective Services.
• Experience working with a specific issue facing client populations such as family violence, crisis intervention, substance abuse, services to the elderly or disabled.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services program.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and consistent access to a vehicle for required work-related activities.
