Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily and non-routine aerodrome serviceability inspections across runways, taxiways, aprons, and facilities
  • Monitor and report on aerodrome conditions, including weather, hazards, and operational impacts
  • Maintain accurate records in line with CASA regulations, aerodrome manuals, and safety systems
  • Identify and manage foreign object debris (FOD), hazards, and operational risks
  • Support NOTAM processes and aeronautical reporting requirements
  • Assist with airside works and operational restrictions, ensuring safe access and compliance
  • Support aircraft movements and general airside operations, including coordination with crews and ground teams
  • Assist with terminal and site aviation activities, including passenger movement and general operational support
  • Participate in aerodrome emergency response activities and maintain airside safety standards
  • Support general aerodrome maintenance and housekeeping activities where required

About You

You’re a qualified Aerodrome Reporting Officer with a strong understanding of aviation safety, compliance, and operational requirements.

You’re comfortable working in a dynamic FIFO environment, balancing structured inspection duties with broader operational responsibilities.

You will have:

  • Strong understanding of CASA regulations, MOS Part 139, and aerodrome operations
  • Experience conducting aerodrome inspections and reporting
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and respond to changing operational conditions
  • Strong situational awareness and safety-first mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
