About Tilicho

Tilicho Labs is a product-engineering firm building AI-native software for enterprises across the globe. We build agentic systems, multi-model orchestration, edge-AI, and computer-vision products — and we ship them into production, for real clients, on a modern AI-assisted SDLC. We're a Google implementation partner, and a lot of our sharpest work runs on the Gemini / GCP stack.
This role is for an engineer who can be handed a hard problem and a client, and deliver the whole thing.

The Role

You take a project from ambiguous brief to shipped, production-grade system — and you talk to the client directly while you do it. You're senior enough that you don't need a manager translating requirements for you: you scope it, architect it, build it, ship it, and stand behind it. You're deep in the Google stack — GCP and Gemini — and you build agentic systems for a living, not as a side project.
We don't want a ticket-taker. We want the person other engineers ask when they're stuck.

What you'll do

  • Own engagements end-to-end: discovery → architecture → build → deploy → production support.
  • Work directly with clients — global enterprises — translating their problems into working systems and communicating clearly about trade-offs and what's actually possible.
  • Design and build agentic applications: multi-step agents, tool use, orchestration across frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, ADK, CrewAI), RAG pipelines, and evaluation.
  • Build on the Google stack — Gemini APIs, Vertex AI / Model Garden, GCP services — to production standards.
  • Make the hard architecture calls and defend them; keep systems reliable, observable, and cost-aware.
  • Raise the bar around you — reviews, reusable accelerators, mentoring.

What we're looking for

  • 6–10 years building software, with real, production agentic / GenAI work — not a recent bolt-on. A strong 6–7 year engineer with shipped agentic systems beats a 10-year generalist here.
  • Deep hands-on command of the Google stack: Gemini, Vertex AI, GCP. You've deployed on it, not just demoed.
  • Proven agentic development — you understand orchestration, tool wiring, context management, evals, and where LLM systems break in production.
  • Ability to own a project end-to-end and deal with clients directly — clear communicator, credible in front of enterprise stakeholders.
  • Strong software fundamentals: system design, APIs, production thinking, reliability, cost.
  • Someone who independently takes a task and delivers it — minimal hand-holding, maximum ownership.

Nice to have

  • Multi-model / orchestration middleware experience (routing, policy, telemetry across model providers).
  • Experience across our common stack — Node.js/Fastify, React/React Native, MongoDB, plus GCP.
  • Open-source or a public portfolio of real, deployed agentic projects — this carries weight.
  • Degree from a top-tier institution (IIT / NIT / BITS / IIIT-H or equivalent) — a plus, not a filter. Portfolio wins ties.

Why Tilicho

You'll build frontier AI systems that actually ship, own your engagements outright, and talk to the clients whose problems you're solving. No layers between you and the work. If you're the kind of engineer who's happiest when handed the whole problem, this is built for you.

To apply: send your CV and a link to one agentic / GenAI system you built — ideally something on the Gemini or GCP stack. Tell us what was hard about it.
