The AI Transformation Analyst will support the identification, assessment, and development of AI-enabled business transformation opportunities across Commercial Banking, Lending, Credit Risk, Banker Experience, Workflow, and Portfolio Monitoring initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with transformation, innovation, business, and technology leaders to evaluate business challenges, analyze processes, research emerging AI capabilities, support business case development, and contribute to future-state strategy initiatives.

What They Will Do

AI Opportunity Research

  • Research AI trends and emerging technologies

  • Analyze competitor and industry innovations

  • Support AI opportunity assessments

  • Maintain AI use case inventories

  • Help build AI business cases

Transformation Analysis

  • Analyze current-state processes

  • Document pain points

  • Identify improvement opportunities

  • Support future-state process design

  • Assist with capability mapping exercises

Executive & Strategy Support

  • Create PowerPoint presentations

  • Develop executive summaries

  • Support roadmap development

  • Compile research and recommendations

  • Prepare workshop materials

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Participate in discovery sessions

  • Capture requirements and insights

  • Support workshops

  • Coordinate with business and technology teams

  • Document decisions and action items

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Undergraduate degree completed within the last 2–3 years in:

    • Business

    • Commerce

    • Technology Management

    • Information Systems

    • Computer Science

    • Engineering

    • Data Analytics

    • Economics

    • Related discipline

Experience

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience

  • Internship, co-op, consulting, business analyst, product, technology, research, or innovation experience considered an asset

Salary:

$61,600.00 - $113,900.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
