Airport Hangar Technician

Key Functions/ Basic Duties:
•Fuel aircraft safely and accurately in accordance with company procedures, FAA requirements, and safety standards.
• Clean and detail aircraft interiors and exteriors as assigned.
• Reposition, tow, marshal, and move aircraft safely on ramps and within hangar facilities.
• Assist with aircraft parking, tie-downs, chocking, and securing aircraft.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe hangar spaces, ramps, work areas, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and clean hangar floors, including promptly addressing spills and debris.
• Clean, organize, stock, and maintain storage areas, tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Wash, clean, and maintain fleet vehicles and ground-support equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic inspections on company vehicles, aircraft support equipment, and facility equipment.
• Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, safety hazards, fuel spills, and damaged property promptly.
• Assist mechanics, pilots, customers, and other team members with operational needs as assigned.
• Follow all safety, environmental, security, and customer-service procedures.
• Maintain accurate records related to fueling, equipment use, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Additional Duties:
Perform other airport, hangar, and operational support duties as needed.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior airport, aviation, line service, vehicle maintenance, or facilities experience is preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to learn and follow aviation fueling, towing, ramp safety, and equipment-operation procedures.
Comfortable working around aircraft, fuel, vehicles, and moving equipment.
Strong attention to detail, safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
