AMI System Operator

Monitor and manage AMI systems including Head End System (HES), Meter Data Management (MDM), and communication networks. Ensure continuous and seamless communication between smart meters and central systems. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve AMI system issues related to connectivity, data flow, and performance. Perform first-level diagnosis of communication failures and network performance issues. Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to higher support levels or vendors as per procedures. Analyze AMI operational data and generate system performance insights and reports. Coordinate with IT, metering, telecom, and field teams to ensure system reliability. Support system configuration, updates, and minor enhancements under supervision. Maintain system logs, incident records, and operational documentation. Ensure compliance with ISO, ISMS, BCMS, and cybersecurity policies. Adhere to corporate Health & Safety and operational procedures. Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or related discipline. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in AMI system monitoring, MDM/HES operations, or similar environments. Proficiency in AMI systems and operational software tools. Knowledge of smart metering technologies and communication protocols. Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Written and spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
