OVERVIEW

Managing the Expense Accounts Payable Department for alo, while supervising a team. This role will report directly to the Director – Financial Operations. Duties include payment decisions, GL coding, payment application, generating reports, KPI tracking and producing numerous ad hoc reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating accounts payable staff members.
  • Overseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and vendor records.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management and government agencies.
  • Setting and facilitating the achievement of department objectives.
  • Developing, implementing, improving, and enforcing budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with employees and vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 10 years of high-volume accounts payable experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and processes.
  • Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
