Job Description:
Monitor and assist students while they are working in the Ceramics Lab.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Applicant must have working knowledge of ceramics, hand building, glazing and kiln operations.
Applicant must be able to communicate with students, work well with faculty and under the requirement of student projects. In addition, have a working knowledge of ceramics.
Applicant must have a working knowledge of the tools, uses and safety protocols for a working ceramics lab.
Essential Functions:
Assist students with projects in the ceramics lab.
Other Characteristics:
Applicant must be a good listener, committed to helping students as well as maintain a safe and clean ceramics lab.
Minimum Education/Experience:
Associate degree or two-year technical certificate
2 years’ experience in a related field of Fine Art OR equivalent work experience in fine art/ceramics.
