JOB DESCRIPTION: Application Development Lead
About the Role:
Lead the application development track for AMS supporting a large-scale analytics platform for a major Oil & Gas enterprise. You will manage a team of backend and frontend developers, own application architecture, and ensure seamless delivery.
Key Technologies:
- Java / Spring Boot / Microservices on Amazon EKS
- ReactJS frontend, Progressive Web Apps
- Python automation (Airflow-scheduled)
- GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline
- Amazon API Gateway, ELB
What You'll Do:
- Lead team of 4-5 developers (backend + frontend)
- Own MIS reports, automailers, and web portal modules
- Drive enhancements within defined SLA timelines
- Handle production incidents and deployments
- Ensure code quality and DevSecOps compliance
Requirements:
- 8+ years with strong Java/Spring Boot expertise
- Proven team leadership experience
- CI/CD and DevOps understanding
- Mumbai based (client site as required)
- Available for weekend/night on-call
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Oil & Gas domain / large enterprise application management
