About this role

Amazon Tech Supply Chain is looking for a Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) Operations Manager. Operation Manager will be responsible for managing a team of IT Process Assistants and Associates: meanwhile, they will report to the Regional Supply Chain Rapid Asset Deployment leader of APAC region. The role includes the overall management, control and direction of RAD floor operations within a FC. This leader will work to drive continuous improvement on the functionality and service levels the RAD Site provides to our customers, resulting in exceeded productivity goals and the delivery to our customer promise.


Key job responsibilities
• Manage and drive staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Change/ Six Sigma initiatives to enable Operations and ultimately the RAD to attain our Business Plan.
• Manage a team of IT Process Assistants and Associates with responsibility of a department within a very fast-paced/ time-critical and demanding environment.
• Set/ clarify requirements and expectations for Business Unit Managers Logistics and Team Leaders across Supply Chain team.
• As needed partner with Managers to establish corrective plans to ensure that department meets business objectives.
• Leverage ideas of Business Unit Managers, Supply Chain, Logistics and Team Leaders to source and nurture creative improvement plans for the RAD Center.
• Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and shifts.
• Be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the department.
• Work closely with support staff (PXT/HR, Finance, RME, WHS, SLP, Master Scheduler, Demand Planner, Inventory Manager, Procurement/MM) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Manage and promote the maintenance of the working environment including driving WHS standards across your operational area.
• Ensure SLP/security procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintains a complete management overview and thorough understanding of RAD inventory in a multi-product automated environment.
• Achieve stock accuracy targets.
• Implements change and/or develop new processes as required to provide ability to better direct ship multiple products to multiple locations and geographies.
• Improve quality and eliminate errors, reduce cost per unit.
• Manage and report day-to-day metrics.

• One-stop-shop for all requirements of the end- customers ranging from EUE (End User Equipment) devices to Network Infrastructure devices

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years of supply chain operations experience
- 5+ years of developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations experience
- 2+ years of leading technology teams as a information technology operations manager experience
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
