Overview:
2020 Companies is now hiring an Area Sales Manager to oversee retail sales operations across multiple Sam's Club locations.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will supervise a team of in-store Field Sales Agents who promote and sell Home Warranty services and plans to Sam's Club members. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for performance coaching, staffing, training, and driving enrollment activities across your assigned territory.

Job Description:
- Supervise and motivate a team of Field Sales Agents across approximately ten Sam's Club locations
- Provide daily direction, training, coaching, and feedback to ensure consistent performance and engagement
- Run team huddles, performance reviews, and manage schedules to maintain a 100% fill rate across assigned stores
- Fulfill staffing needs: interview, hire, train, and develop new employees per client and company directives
- Support in-store sales activities as needed, personally engaging with customers and driving enrollments
- Ensure team meets or exceeds weekly and monthly enrollment quotas, Net Sales Per 8 Hours targets, and KPIs
- Accurately track headcount, productivity, sales performance, and team activity using internal reporting tools
- Document and manage performance, conduct corrective actions, and ensure compliance with HR policies
- Build and maintain professional relationships with Sam's Club store management and client contacts
- Ensure proper training of client-approved sales techniques, enrollment scripts, products, and policies
- Provide feedback and recommendations based on customer, team, and competitive insights
- Maintain strict adherence to client expectations, enrollment quality, and ethical standards
- Ensure all team members comply with Sam's Club vendor demonstration guidelines and client standards
- Travel to store locations regularly throughout assigned territory
- Administer and document all counselings and terminations accurately and in a timely manner
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and regional conference calls as required
- Ensure compliance with all company and client policies
Performance Measurements
- Ensure team meets established weekly/monthly enrollment goals and Net Sales Per 8 Hours targets
- Maintain 100% staffing and fill rate across assigned Sam's Club locations; minimize turnover
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and low complaint/rejection rates
- Accurate and timely reporting of team performance and activities
- Regular and prompt attendance, personal professionalism, and team accountability
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or management training preferred
- 2+ years retail sales management experience required
- Prior experience overseeing field sales teams in retail environments preferred
- Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills
- Consultative selling ability with excellent objection-handling skills
- Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions and problem solve
- Capable of working autonomously with excellent time management skills
- Must be able to travel to various Sam's Club locations within the region and work flexible hours including weekends
- Tech-savvy: proficient with smartphones, scheduling tools, and digital reporting
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance required (mileage reimbursed)
- Must pass MVR screening, background check, and drug screening
