About this role

Role Overview

Droga5, part of Accenture Song, is looking for an Art Director to join our Sydney team.

This role is suited to a visually driven creative who thrives on turning ideas into impactful campaigns, experiences and brand storytelling. You'll work alongside Copywriters, Designers, Strategists and Producers to create engaging creative solutions that resonate with audiences and deliver meaningful results for clients.

As an Art Director, you'll combine conceptual thinking with strong design craft, translating ideas into compelling visual executions across multiple channels. You'll play an active role in creative development, presentation creation and client engagement, helping shape work from concept through to delivery.

The role will include:

  • Developing original creative concepts and visual ideas across integrated campaigns, digital experiences and brand communications.

  • Creating comprehensive layouts, storyboards, visual references and presentation materials that effectively communicate creative ideas.

  • Working closely with Copywriters and multidisciplinary teams to bring concepts to life.

  • Providing creative feedback and direction during concept development and production stages.

  • Supporting creative quality control through art checks and review of final deliverables.

  • Presenting visual solutions, creative rationale and project work to clients and stakeholders.

  • Collaborating with Designers, Strategists, Account teams and Producers throughout the creative process.

  • Staying connected to culture, design trends and emerging technologies to inspire innovative thinking.

  • Ensuring all creative work meets a high standard of craft, consistency and effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of experience in art direction, visual design or creative development within an advertising, digital or integrated agency environment.

  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to develop creative ideas from insight through execution.

  • Excellent visual communication, layout and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience creating work across digital, social, brand and integrated campaign environments.

  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for craft and creative excellence.

  • Confidence presenting ideas and articulating creative thinking to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.

  • Curiosity about culture, consumer behaviour and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools.

  • A proactive mindset, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for solving problems creatively.
