Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs a wide variety of electronic/ mechanical assembly operations on production lines using the various processes of assembling, winding, soldering, potting, testing, and component inspection
  • Provides daily input into applicable database
  • Reads and follows work instructions to correctly position and algin parts
  • Participation in continuous improvement and 5S
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipment
  • Inspect parts and complete assemblies to ensure they meet strict specifications, measurements, and tolerance limits.

Education & Experience:

  • No education required, but preferred
  • Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually)
  • Ability to use a microscope for 8 hours daily
  • Ability to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining a good working relationship with co workers & supervisors

  • Great hand dexterity
  • Ability to contribute to quality objectives
  • Provide products and services that exceed customer expectations
  • Obeys all work rules and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations as valid for the work tasks assigned
