Location: Limonest, France

Work style: Hybrid — 2 days per week working from home

As Assistant Facilities Manager in Limonest, you'll partner with the Facilities Manager to keep the site running smoothly — from budgets and contracts to health & safety and day-to-day operations. You'll lead and coach the on-site team, build trusted relationships with vendors and stakeholders, and step in as the client's main point of contact whenever the Facilities Manager is away. It's a role with genuine scope and visibility, backed by JLL's global platform and expertise. If you're ready to bring structure, care, and drive to a site that matters, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Facilities Manager in leading the on-site team and vendor partners, coaching people to deliver outstanding service.
  • Step in as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders whenever the Facilities Manager is away, building trust across every level.
  • Oversee vendor and contractor performance, making sure hard and soft services land on time, on budget, and to JLL's procurement standards.
  • Manage contract governance, tracking renewals and assessing ongoing value for the client in line with JLL's Code of Ethics.
  • Take ownership of site financial operations, monitoring budgets, cost control, and accounts payable processes to hit targets.
  • Champion health and safety on-site, putting in place procedures that meet statutory fire, health, and safety requirements.
  • Drive best-practice site operations, including Critical Environment standards, while spotting ways to cut cost and lift performance.
  • Lead risk management efforts, from business continuity planning to incident reporting and escalation.

What We're Looking For

  • A background in facilities, property, or hospitality management, with a genuine interest in keeping people and places running well.
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Solid knowledge of local health and safety regulations, with comfort managing critical facilities and specialized vendor services.
  • Confidence reading and interpreting commercial contracts, with an eye for risk and value.
  • Strong financial acumen — you're comfortable with budgets, cost control, and financial analysis.
  • Natural people leadership — you know how to coach, motivate, and bring out the best in a team.
  • A clear, confident communicator who builds relationships easily, from vendors to senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset that spots issues before they become problems.
  • Flexibility and resilience — you're comfortable adapting when priorities shift.
