We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our Perth Amboy, United States location. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations, leading a team of associates, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The Assistant Manager will work collaboratively with senior management to drive operational excellence, maintain high performance standards, and foster a positive work environment.
- Supervise and support team members, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure optimal performance and professional development
- Assist in scheduling, training, and onboarding of new staff members to maintain consistent service quality
- Monitor daily operations and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly, escalating complex matters when necessary
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to team performance, inventory, and operational metrics
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a fair and supportive approach to staff management
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategies that meet organizational goals and objectives
- Identify and address performance gaps through constructive feedback and performance reviews
- Assist in inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes as needed
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture by promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role (minimum 2-3 years)
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering quality experiences
