About your role
As an Assistant Manager / Manager in the Global Tax CoE team, you will play a key role in supporting FIL entities across Japan and selected jurisdictions, ensuring the effective delivery of tax compliance, tax accounting, tax reporting and tax risk management activities.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end tax activities, including statutory tax filings, tax reporting, tax accounting and reconciliations, tax audits and enquiries, tax authority interactions and tax technical analysis. The role requires the application of sound professional judgement to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and FIL’s internal control framework.
Working within a global operating model, you will collaborate closely with onshore and offshore stakeholders across Finance, Tax and other corporate functions to deliver high-quality outcomes, strengthen tax governance, and support continuous process improvements across multiple jurisdictions.
