THE JOB:

As an Assistant Manager for Salt & Ivy at Aria, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coastal-inspired cafe, patio, and bar while setting the stage for an exceptional guest experience with your welcoming smile and premier service. By understanding our guests' unique stories and needs—whether they are relaxing on our breezy, sun-drenched patio or dining in our vibrant main room—you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay, working in tight alignment with your team to maintain Aria’s world-class hospitality standards.


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations

  • Supervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operation

  • Perform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records

  • Maintain communication with the Chef on all food service and menu issues

  • Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address issues or needs requested by guests  and employees

  • Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions for any outlets from the warehouse or  support departments

  • Keep inventory form and stocking area updated

  • Inspect food coming from support departments to assure freshness and quality

  • Maintain direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience required

  • Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager for a full service, high-volume or similar Quick Service restaurant environment preferred
