Job Summary: We are hiring an experienced Assistant Service Manager for the automobile service industry. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, service operations experience, workshop management skills, and the ability to support overall service department performance. The role requires effective coordination with technicians, service advisors, customers, and workshop teams to ensure smooth service operations, timely job completion, customer satisfaction, and efficient workshop productivity. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Service Manager in managing daily automobile service operations. Supervise workshop activities, service workflow, technicians, and job allocation. Ensure timely completion of vehicle service, repairs, inspections, and maintenance jobs. Monitor service quality, workshop productivity, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, spare parts team, and customers. Ensure proper diagnosis, troubleshooting, and technical support for vehicle service issues. Maintain service standards, repair quality, job cards, and workshop discipline. Support preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, and vehicle inspection activities. Monitor manpower utilization, technician efficiency, and workshop performance. Ensure compliance with company service procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines. Handle customer complaints professionally and support smooth after-sales service operations. Requirements Minimum 7+ years of experience in the Two/Three Wheeler Automobile Service / Automotive Service industry. Education: Any Degree or Diploma. Strong technical knowledge of automobile service, vehicle repair, diagnostics, and maintenance. Experience in service operations, workshop coordination, and team supervision. Ability to lead technicians, service advisors, and workshop staff effectively. Good knowledge of job cards, service process, repair workflow, and customer handling. Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience in managing workshop productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction. GCC/Africa automobile service experience will be an added advantage
