Assistant Superintendent (Full Time Mixed Shifts)
About this role
Performs repairs and preventative maintenance duties, and ensures that the building is maintained in a clean, attractive and safe condition. Responds to emergency building maintenance and security requests
Qualifications:
High school completed with relevant course
Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in building maintenance
Knowledge of legislations and relevant procedures regarding building standards, fire and safety
Some knowledge of preventive maintenance programs for building systems and ground maintenance
Good interpersonal skills. Experience working with seniors is an asset
Satisfactory Police Reference Check (with vulnerable sector screen) Result
Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
Physical Demands/ Working Condition:
Considerable standing, walking, lifting, pushing and bending
Exposed to all tenant care elements through regular client contact
Exposed to garbage, dust, heat, noise, and humidity
On-call services for building maintenance, emergency and safety matters
Required to work weekends and statutory holidays and evening and night shifts if necessary

Salary Range:
$20.70 - $24.35
