Assistant Villa Operations Manager

The Assistant Villa Operations Manager at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is responsible for supporting the Villa Operations Manager in delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences while overseeing the daily operations of the resort's private villas. The role combines operational leadership, guest service excellence, team supervision, and coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of all villas.
• Supervise Villa Hosts and ensure high service standards.
• Coordinate villa check-ins, check-outs, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Inspect villas before guest arrivals to ensure luxury standards.
• Handle VIP arrivals, guest preferences, and personalized services.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Schedule and coach Villa Hosts and monitor their performance.
• Ensure compliance with resort SOPs, health, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations to provide seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor operational costs and support departmental budgeting.
• Maintain accurate guest history and preferences in the property management system (Opera).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in villa operations or luxury resort operations.
• Experience in 5-star hotels or luxury resorts, preferably with butler or villa host services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
