We are seeking an IOC Analyst/Lead to join our IT team to assist and provide first response support in the monitoring, troubleshooting and support of various alerts related to ACH, Transactions, DataServices, Auto Funds Transfer, Adapter Health, connectivity, File Movers, Windows operating systems, databases, utilities, system tools. As an IOC Analyst, you will respond to alerts and cases, collaborate with internal departments for services that the IOC supports across Q2. You will join a passionate and collaborative team of people who are focused on providing exceptional support to our customers and internal teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively respond to alerts generated by monitoring systems to maintain environment health and stability.
- Resolve issues by following documented processes and pre-defined standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and analyze logs and alerts from a variety of different technologies across multiple platforms in order to identify and mitigate security incidents and maintain the integrity of corporate information.
- Leverage internal tools and capabilities to analyze potential risks from a variety of intakes taking appropriate response actions to include threat containment and/or escalation.
- Document troubleshooting results and remediation actions, provide regular status updates to impacted customers.
- Identify and escalate critical impact to on-call teams
- Create and maintain operational runbooks in support new and changing infrastructure
- Perform daily IOC tasks, including managing a case workload, responding to escalated issues and operational checklists
- Ensure proper transition during shift changes
- Incident and Event Management:
- Responsible for ensuring efficient resolution of incidents through people, process, and technology
- Manage projects to improve IOC efficiency.
- Flexible to work in 24*7 environment.
- Responsible for training team members, project engineers, technical support staff and application development staff to understand and work within the defined architecture and standards being implemented.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration concepts such as troubleshooting Windows, Linux, Connectivity and DNS.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts
- Basic level exposure to virtualized environments (Remote Desktop, VDI and VMWare).
- Basic knowledge of application support within multi-tier environments (web, application, database)
- Basic knowledge of incident, change, and problem management principles
- 2+ years previous related experience
- Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Must work effectively within a team environment
- Experience on Automation tools and procedures
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to monitoring alerts and escalate issues according to documented procedures
• Follow predefined runbooks and standard operating procedures
• Assist in the identification and triage of issues across Linux, Windows, and network environments
• Document steps taken during incident response and troubleshooting
• Perform daily IOC tasks under the guidance of senior team members
• Participate in shift transitions by providing accurate updates and documentation
• Collaborate with peers to learn and grow technical skills in a 24x7 environment
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience and may require up to 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience
• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration
• Exposure to networking concepts and basic troubleshooting
• Understanding of incident and change management fundamentals
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, Splunk, Grafana)
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team and take direction
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
