The Associate Relationship Manager partners with senior level bankers to support the management and servicing of Commercial Real Estate and Business Banking client portfolios. This role is focused on relationship management, coordination, documentation, and workflow execution, including coordinating client service activities, maintaining accurate portfolio and pipeline information, preparing client and prospect materials, and facilitating follow-up with Relationship Managers and business partners. The position helps drive and deliver a consistent client experience while promoting efficient portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
Handles relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue and market share. Typically works with clients with basic levels of risk and complexity of needs. Generally works with higher degree of supervision.
Acquires and/or expands and retains client relationships at the client's site to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.
Focuses on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client's needs and their financial well-being. Focuses on increasing client engagement and loyalty by visiting the client's site.
Builds an effective network of internal and external relationships, such as community or industry relationships, to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience. Focuses on bringing the entire company to the client by presenting the full range of PNC's products and services. Leverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.
Through discovery conversations, identifies and implements client solutions and, as appropriate, collaborates with internal business partners. Effectively executes on contact management strategy through utilization of available tools and resources. Regularly meets with internal business partners to communicate and review business results and pipeline management
Qualifications:
Foundational understanding of banking and financial services processes.
Ability to support client service, documentation, portfolio administration, and follow-up activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organization, communication, and follow-through skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external partners and follow established procedures, policies, and controls.
Comfort using reporting, contact management, pipeline, and sales support tools to maintain accurate information and support workflow.
