Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Assists in the review and evaluation of applications, ensuring they align with Company policies and underwriting guidelines.
• Works closely with underwriters and brokers/agents to gather additional information and clarify application details.
• Reviews relevant data, including financial statements, property valuations, and loss histories to assist with risk assessment.
• Assists in maintaining underwriting files, ensuring all documents and approvals are properly filed.
• Compiles reports on risk evaluations, policy statuses, and portfolio performance for underwriters and management.
• Provides information to Processing that is needed to issue policies and endorsements on a timely basis. 
• Assist with TN panels. 
• The person hired for this position will work out of one of the Summit offices: Lakeland, FL, Gainesville, GA, or Baton Rouge, LA, which offers a hybrid work environment of 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home.

Job Requirements

Education: Associates Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Scope of Job/Qualifications: Performs work under close supervision and technical direction. Performs standard duties utilizing often-complex processes/procedures on assignments of a routine nature.
