MD degree or equivalent; American Board of Surgery certification or eligibility; American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery certification or eligibility.

Job Description:

The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is recruiting a tenure or non-tenure track surgeon to join the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery. Academic rank will be awarded based upon the career stage and development of the candidate.

This new physician will join the section’s three full-time and one part-time surgeons with a reputation of excellence in patient care, education, and clinical research. The institution has made a substantial commitment to the Division, with new dedicated operating suites recently completed, and a new endoscopy unit. Applicants will be provided dedicated time to pursue academic interests.

Expected Salary:

 Salary is negotiable based on education and experience.  

Required Qualifications:

MD degree or equivalent; American Board of Surgery certification or eligibility; American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery certification or eligibility.

Preferred:

Research experience. Endoscopy experience
