MD degree or equivalent; American Board of Surgery certification or eligibility; American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery certification or eligibility.

The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is recruiting a tenure or non-tenure track surgeon to join the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery. Academic rank will be awarded based upon the career stage and development of the candidate.

This new physician will join the section’s three full-time and one part-time surgeons with a reputation of excellence in patient care, education, and clinical research. The institution has made a substantial commitment to the Division, with new dedicated operating suites recently completed, and a new endoscopy unit. Applicants will be provided dedicated time to pursue academic interests.

 Salary is negotiable based on education and experience.  

MD degree or equivalent; American Board of Surgery certification or eligibility; American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery certification or eligibility.

Research experience. Endoscopy experience

• Letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation and/or references required with submission of application. 
• Background Check Required.
• Final candidate will be required to provide official transcript to the hiring department upon hire.  A transcript will not be considered “official” if a designation of “Issued to Student” is visible.  Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), which can be found at http://www.naces.org/ .
