About this role

Job Overview
Provide legal advice and services to support the organization’s business in assigned region, in one or more of the following areas: contract law, employment law, commercial law, regulatory or compliance. May also coordinate legal matters handled by outside counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts; provide end-to-end legal support to business teams.

  • Advise Commercial Operations on contracting, risk allocation and daily legal queries.

  • Counsel on IP, technology, privacy, data protection and commercial compliance.

  • Build and refine legal templates, playbooks and workflows to boost efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Compliance, Privacy, Procurement and other functions on cross-team initiatives.

  • Drive AI adoption in APAC legal, with focus on practical solutions for China.

Qualifications

  • LLB or equivalent; PRC National Legal Professional Qualification is required; PRC lawyer license or foreign equivalent bar admission accepted is a plus.

  • 3–5 years’ legal experience from a reputable firm and/or in-house team.

  • Sound knowledge of commercial contracting, IP, tech and privacy/compliance.

  • Process-minded; experience improving legal templates or workflows.

  • Hands-on understanding of AI tools in legal work.

  • Strong communication and cross-team trust-building skills.
