About the role

MSS Security is seeking a Permanent Part Time Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Moranbah Airport. As an Aviation Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers, staff and airport operations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Screen passengers, staff, and visitors to ensure airport security.
• Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment.
• Conduct passenger screening, bag searches, and security checks when required.
• Patrol the airport and report any security risks or suspicious activity.

Requirements:

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid Driver's license
• Valid QLD Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing)
• 24/7 availability required
