This position plays a pivotal role in connection between the Compliance Division and IT Delivery partners, ensuring the successful development and support of technology solutions that address Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance needs. This position is responsible for leading system changes, enhancements, and maintenance support, while driving collaboration with key stakeholders to establish project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong desire to drive change, enhance compliance processes, and foster collaborative relationships across diverse teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • As the primary interface between Compliance Division and the IT Delivery partners (IT Platform, Data Platform and Data Office) for end-to-end delivery and support of Compliance Division on technology solutions development.

  • Lead Systems changes, enhancements and maintenance support for the Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance related systems and processes.

  • Drive and partner with key stakeholders to develop high-level project timeline plans, and budgets. Track project status, identify potential risks, dependencies and impacts. Proactively provide course correction.

  • Facilitate effective communication among Cross-functional & diverse teams and integrate stakeholders for the project delivery. Build and enhance strong internal Business Unit relationships.

  • Monitor the governance aspects of Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance related systems. Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve Technology risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Ability to challenge and suggest improvements to streamline and enhance compliance work processes, provide value-add to the various strategic programs that you lead and facilitate.

  • Demonstrate accountability of Compliance Division Transformation Program delivery, supported by technical competency, strong desire for improvement and enthusiasm towards 'Change Management'.

  • Assist in the resolution of internal and external audit points for compliance related systems and processes.

  • Prepare and present project status in forums such as Working group meetings and Project Steering committee.

  • Retrieve, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL/ Python to support business operations and decision-making from compliance perspective.

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights effectively.

  • Act as an enabler to drive AI/ML initiatives from ideation to production deployment, taking a hands-on role in solution design, coding, model development, coordinate for testing & validation, and implementation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, the Bank's Responsible AI framework, model governance standards, and internal policies.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years in AML/compliance and related fields with hands-on experience

  • Degree holder in Business Administration (Information Systems, Business Analytics or FinTech), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Financial Technology (FinTech), Modeling & Algorithms, Financial Technologies Software Engineering or related disciplines

  • Proven experience in delivering AML/CFT, Compliance, Regulatory, or Digital Transformation projects

  • Proficiency in programming, data analysis, SQL, Python, or other relevant technologies is an advantage

  • Candidates from other academic disciplines (e.g. Risk Management, Law, Statistics, etc.) will also be considered provided they possess strong technical, coding, and project management capabilities.

  • Professional qualification on AML/CFT, FinTech or Compliance, ACAMS or PMP, etc. is an advantage

  • Proficiency in MS Office products and Knowledge of programming language, e.g. SQL, Python etc. is an advantage
