About this role

Company Description

👋🏼 We're Nagarro. We are a digital product engineering company that is scaling in a big way! We build products, services, and experiences that inspire, excite, and delight. We work at scale — across all devices and digital mediums, and our people exist everywhere in the world (18,000 experts across 39 countries, to be exact). Our work culture is dynamic and non-hierarchical.

Job Description

We're looking for an AWS Cloud Architect to help lead a large-scale enterprise cloud transformation, designing modern AWS environments and guiding the migration of enterprise workloads from VMware to AWS.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud architectures for enterprise environments.
  • Lead the planning and execution of VMware-to-AWS migration initiatives.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Design AWS networking solutions, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPN connectivity, and multi-account environments.
  • Define cloud migration strategies and architecture for business-critical applications and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to deliver successful cloud transformation projects.
  • Ensure cloud solutions align with security, compliance, and operational best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout architecture, migration planning, implementation, and optimization.
  • Support customers in adopting AWS best practices and modern cloud-native approaches where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with VMware-to-AWS migrations or large-scale infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.
  • Experience designing multi-account AWS environments using Landing Zone, Control Tower, or similar approaches.
  • Good understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) is an advantage.
  • Professional proficiency in German (minimum C1) is required.

Additional Information

  • We're a global digital engineering leader with a builder's mindset - non-hierarchical, entrepreneurial, and allergic to bureaucracy.
  • You'll join a fast-growing AI practice with real budget, real clients, and real appetite to experiment, backed by the stability of a company delivering technology at scale for 20+ years.
  • Front-row seat on the most exciting AI engagements in the DACH market - with the autonomy to shape how they're solved.
  • A rare dual mandate: influence at the deal table and impact in the codebase, instead of choosing one.
  • A flat, non-bureaucratic culture where good ideas move fast, regardless of hierarchy.
  • Deep investment in your growth - certifications, conference budgets, and a genuine community of AI practitioners to learn alongside.
  • Competitive compensation, flexible working models, and the trust to manage your own time between clients and code.
