Backend Python Developer

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and REST APIs.

• Take ownership of features from design to production deployment.

• Perform deep code analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause debugging of production issues.

• Apply software design patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices to build maintainable systems.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture and design discussions.

• Continuously improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

• Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python and at least one framework such as Django or FastAPI.

• Good working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development concepts.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, API design, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and exposure to Mongo (NoSQL) DB.

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and clean coding practices.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate complex issues.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and AWS cloud platform.

• Understanding of performance optimization, caching, authentication, authorization, and application security.
