Bank Administration Assistant

Hours: Flexible, Zero-hour contract

Location: Ashtead Hospital, Surrey

The role:

We are looking for a Bank Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ashtead Hospital. You will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.

We will provide support and training to enable you to support all the hospital administration areas, including Outpatient Bookings, Reception and Medical Records. This position offers a real opportunity to develop and hone skills across a wide variety of different administrative areas.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in a front facing or customer service role

  • Strong IT skills

  • Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent

  • Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including databases

  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and consultants on a day-to-day basis applying appropriate methods and interpersonal skills

  • Positive, willing attitude

  • Self-motivated and possess strong organisational, interpersonal and above all customer service skills.

  • Previous use of an Electronic Patient Record system (desired not required)

Ashtead Hospital has been one of Surrey's leading private hospitals since it opened in 1984. What is a Bank Contract:

A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals. A Bank contract is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, as it allows you to choose shifts that fit your availability, leaving you with a greater work-life balance. Bank contracts are also a fantastic way to secure additional income alongside other contracted work. Our Bank staff play a crucial role in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring that patient care remains uninterrupted.
