Barista - Full-Time.
SPAR Newcastle, Newcastle Service Station, Newcastle, Co. Dublin, is recruiting a Full-Time Barista to join our fantastic team. This role is ideal for a motivated person who enjoys working with customers in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Prepare and serve a range of coffees, teas, and other beverages to company standards
Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked work area
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
Operate the till and process customer transactions accurately
Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment as required
Work effectively as part of a team to achieve operational goals
Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines
Assist with other store duties as required

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Previous barista experience is required
Good numerical and cash-handling skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures is desirable
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends
