About this role

Job Description

Renishaw is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team and support the effective administration and delivery of employee benefits across the organisation.

This role plays a key part in ensuring employees receive a high-quality, responsive and customer-focused service, while maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth operation of benefit programmes in line with company policies, procedures and relevant legislation.

The Benefits Coordinator acts as a first point of contact for employee benefit queries, providing guidance and administrative support across a range of benefit schemes, including pensions, healthcare, insurance and wellbeing initiatives. The role is responsible for coordinating benefit-related processes, liaising with external providers, and ensuring a positive employee experience through accurate and timely service delivery.

The role sits within the HR team, reporting to the benefits and global mobility manager, and works closely with colleagues across HR, Payroll, Finance and external benefit providers to ensure effective administration, compliance and continuous improvement of benefits processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support with the administration and operation of our UK employee benefits
  • Provide support to employees with queries in relation to our UK employee benefit schemes
  • Responsible for employee engagement with our benefits, utilising a variety of communication channels to increase awareness and usage of our benefits
  • Support contract renewals with benefit vendors, alongside ongoing relationship management
  • Support with projects to introduce new employee benefits, as well as the enhancement of existing benefits
  • Develop our dashboard of MI data for benefit usage and engagement level

Required skills, experience & knowledge

  • Knowledge of employee benefit schemes, with previous experience administering such schemes  an advantage
  • Practical experience in employee benefits or related HR processes
  • Familiarity with administrative processes and ability to ensure accurate record keeping
  • Competent user of MS Office 365 with basic Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills to explain benefit-related matters clearly to a diverse audience
  • Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.

 

Desirable skills, experience & knowledge

  • Knowledge of HR systems and basic technology/process understanding.
  • Experience supporting projects or coordinating small-scale implementations.
  • Broader HR experience would be advantageous
  • Awareness of benefits market trends and vendor landscape.
