About this role
Coordinate bunker cargo loading, transfer, blending and delivery activities onboard assigned vessels. Prepare, verify and maintain cargo records using the stock movement logbook, daily ROB report and related operational documentation. Monitor product quantity and quality throughout cargo handling and bunker delivery operations. Apply operational procedures in accordance with SS 648:2024, company work instructions and applicable industry standards. Implement custody-control measures for cargo storage, onboard inventory and product movements. Conduct pre-operation checks and confirm that cargo documentation, tank conditions and transfer arrangements are accurate. Track inventory balances and promptly investigate discrepancies involving cargo quantities or documentation. Escalate customer complaints, delivery disputes and operational irregularities to the Operations Manager. Support onsite investigations by providing records, operational details and relevant cargo information. Collaborate with vessel crews, customers and shore-based teams to ensure safe, accurate and timely bunker deliveries. Requirements Relevant maritime, marine operations or logistics qualifications are preferred. At least one year of experience as a Bunker Clerk or Cargo Officer onboard bunker tankers. Certification in Basic and Advanced Bunkering Practices under SS 600 / TR 48, together with SS 648:2024 Mass Flow Metering certification. Willingness to perform shift duties and remain onboard vessels according to operational schedules.
