Your responsibilities as a Business Analyst:

  1. Drive discussions with product owner and/or business partners to understand the process, the problem, and brainstorming for the solution scenarios.
  2. Actively engage with the product owner or business SME to translate solution needs into actionable user stories, analysis and specification of client requirements.
  3. Partner with product owners/ SME’s to define & refine acceptance criteria.
  4. Partner with developers on reviewing user stories for understanding and scoring.
  5. Negotiate with product owners/ business experts on alternative solutions.
  6. Write test cases for user stories.
  7. Perform/ coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure functionality meets business needs before each product release.
  8. Secure approval and change management activities with senior product manager or product owner before release.
  9. Accurate documentation of requirements and input to solution design.
  10. Produce clear, unambiguous, and grammatically correct documentation, often under time pressure.
  11. Fact finding, facilitation and brainstorming to get to a complete set of requirements.
  12. Capturing requirements in a logical manner as input to the IT development teams.
  13. An understanding of the core product sets and functional capabilities.
  14. Knowledge of systems development life cycles such as Agile and waterfall.
  15. Experience of data analysis and process development methods.
  16. Negotiating with clients regarding alternative options or approaches to meet their requirements.
  17. Maintaining requirements catalogue to avoid scope deviation and have experience of requirements management tools e.g. Confluence, Jira.
  18. Monitor change control from a scope, cost, and quality perspective.
  19. Contribute to project debrief and lessons learned sessions.
  20. Provision of reports on project progress to the Partners and management team as required.
  21. Awareness of change management and implementation challenges associated with implementation.
  22. Product demonstration to client.
  23. Drive customer engagement from POC to implementation and BAU

Skillsets we require:

  1. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and systems.
  2. Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines.
  5. Good knowledge in project management tools, such as JIRA or similar.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Taking ownership from the beginning of the project.

Pedigree and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, MBA or a related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience into Project Management, Business Analyst.
  3. Experience in the technology or software development industry is preferred.
