The Business Analytics Consultant leads the design and delivery of high-impact business intelligence solutions for Protecht's customers and internal teams across the North American region, working closely with customers, advisors, and implementation teams to deliver tailored dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and InetSoft.
In this client-facing role, you'll liaise with stakeholders to discuss, document, and implement business requirements, manage delivery schedules, and communicate progress, while also supporting pre-sales efforts, contributing to internal improvements, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Build high quality Risk dashboards and reports using Protecht’s inetsoft business intelligence software.
- Meet with customers remotely or in person, to identify and interpret their dashboard and reporting requirements and capture these in a consistent, standardised format.
- Manage the analytics implementation lifecycle, from scoping through to UAT and deployment, guiding customers on best practice and maintaining an excellent audit trail.
- Offer expert guidance, constructive feedback, and engage in challenging discussions with customers throughout their Protecht journey.
- Support the pre-sales and marketing teams when required.
About You
- Strong demonstrated experience in SQL-based data manipulation
- Strong Demonstrated experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, InetSoft)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Eligibility to work in North America (US citizen or permanent resident)
Desirable Skills
- Risk Management experience
- Coding in JavaScript or SQL or similar
- Experience in Inetsoft Style Intelligence BI
- SaaS experience
