Group IT Business Application Specialist

The role is Office based and reports to ΙΤ Infrastructure Head

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the Group’s core/central business applications and assist end users in their daily operations.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of key IT business systems, including SAP, HIS, LIS/RIS, BI reporting platforms, and PACS.
  • Manage and resolve application-related incidents and tickets, performing required configurations and providing technical guidance to business users.
  • Collaborate with local IT teams (internal and outsourced) across Group sites to support application issues and project implementations.
  • Coordinate with external IT consultants, developers, and engineers when needed to resolve technical issues and align systems with business requirements.
  • Identify and propose improvements to business applications to enhance efficiency and address operational needs.
  • Participate in the design, coordination, and delivery of group-wide IT application projects, including:
    • Gathering and analyzing business requirements
    • Documenting technical specifications
    • Supporting implementation and customization
    • Monitoring deliverables and timelines
    • Supporting user testing and go-live processes
    • Creating user documentation and manuals

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science / Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience (queries, coding, database handling).

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience within the Healthcare Services sector (primary or secondary healthcare).
  • Familiarity with ERP, HIS, RIS, PACS, and BI platforms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
