About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Associate (Business Execution Associate) in Cards and Personal Loans. This position will support the evaluation and execution of partnership opportunities that create value for customers, strengthen cardmember experiences, and help advance business growth across the credit card ecosystem.

In this role, you will support strategic partnership initiatives across areas such as rewards, loyalty, travel, offers, fintech, digital experiences, and emerging card capabilities. You will work closely with Product, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to help assess opportunities, develop business cases, and support partnership execution. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, collaborative, and interested in building a career in business development, partnerships, and strategy.


In this role, you will:

  • Conduct market, competitive, customer, and partner research to identify industry trends and support partnership evaluations.

  • Assist in the development of business cases, financial analyses, presentations, and executive materials.

  • Support partnership opportunity assessments by gathering data, conducting analysis, and summarizing findings for business leaders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to help evaluate customer, operational, financial, technology, legal, risk, and compliance considerations.

  • Assist with partner outreach, diligence activities, meeting preparation, and follow-up actions.

  • Support partnership approvals, contracting activities, implementation planning, and project coordination.

  • Help maintain governance, reporting, and control processes related to partnership evaluation and execution.


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, product strategy, consulting, corporate development, or financial services

  • Knowledge of the credit card ecosystem, including rewards, loyalty, payment networks, fintech, digital platforms, merchants, travel providers, and technology partners

  • Experience conducting research, analyzing data, and developing presentations or business recommendations.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and translate findings into concise recommendations.

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$82,000.00 - $125,000.00
