Business Development Specialist - US

About this role
Business Development Specialist (US Market) – Signzy
Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India (On-site) Employment Type: Full Time Shift Timing:
US Business Hours Compensation: Competitive (Based on Skills & Experience)
⚠️ US Outbound SaaS experience is mandatory for this role.
Why This Role?
Signzy is scaling its footprint in the United States, and this role sits right at the edge of that
expansion. As a Business Development Specialist for the US Market, you won't be
inheriting a warm pipeline — you'll be building one. You'll open conversations with the
compliance and risk leaders at banks, fintechs, and crypto platforms who are actively
rethinking how they onboard and verify customers.
This isn't a role for someone who wants a script and a quota to hit quietly. We're looking for
a builder — someone curious enough to dig into how a Chief Compliance Officer thinks,
resourceful enough to find the right person at a 5,000-person bank, and sharp enough to
make a cold email read like it wasn't cold at all.
If you want hands-on ownership of a US GTM engine — not just a seat in it — this is your
shot.
What You'll Do (and Own)
Build the Target Lists: Research and construct ICP-rich account lists across banks,
credit unions, fintechs, lenders, payment companies, crypto exchanges, and
WealthTech/InsurTech firms.
Run Outbound That Doesn't Feel Like Outbound: Cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn
outreach that are contextual, sharp, and human — not templated spray-and-pray.
Identify the Right Buyers: Map out Chief Compliance Officers, Risk Heads, Fraud
Leaders, Product Leaders, and Digital Transformation teams within each target
account.
Qualify with Intent: Go beyond "are you interested" — understand real pain points
around KYC, KYB, AML, and fraud prevention before booking a meeting.
Own Your Pipeline: Keep CRM records clean, track campaign performance, and bring
data-backed insights back to the team on what's working.
PartnerAcross GTM: Work closely with Sales, Growth, and Leadership to prepare
account briefs, refine messaging, and shape the broader US market strategy.
Iterate Relentlessly: Treat prospecting like an experiment — test messaging, try new
sequences, and keep leveling up your outbound game.
You'll Thrive If You Are
Genuinely curious about the US BFSI and crypto landscape, and how compliance
technology fits into it
A strong communicator — verbal and written — who can hold their own with senior
decision-makers
Persistent without being pushy; you know the difference between follow-up and noise
Structured and tech-savvy in how you approach research and prospecting
Comfortable working US business hours and thinking in a US business context
You Must Have
Excellent spoken and written US English
Strong internet research and analytical skills
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting
tools
Basic understanding of SaaS sales and business development
Ability to conduct professional cold calls and outbound outreach
Good to Have
Understanding of BFSI, KYC/KYB, AML compliance, fraud prevention, digital identity
verification, or the crypto/digital asset ecosystem
Prior experience in sales, lead generation, GTM, research, or customer-facing roles
Exposure to CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
What You'll Gain
Hands-on exposure to enterprise SaaS sales and US market GTM strategy
Deep immersion in the fintech, banking, and compliance technology ecosystem
Skills in account-based selling, cold outreach, and ICP definition
Working fluency in sales qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, SPICED)
A front-row seat to building a market from the ground up
Career Growth
This role can open doors into:
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Business Development Associate (BDA)
GTM Analyst
Pre-Sales Associate
Growth Associate
Interview Process

expectations, and mutual fit.
Round 2 — Qualification Round with Prabhat Focused on understanding your prior
experience with similar processes, and your familiarity with Signzy, ourAPIs, our product,
and US outbound motions.

LinkedIn, drafting outreach emails, writing a cold call script, and demonstrating
communication skills in real time.
Round 4 — Final Sign-Off Final round with leadership, followed by offer roll-out.
If fintech, compliance technology, crypto infrastructure, and enterprise SaaS sales excite
you — and you want real ownership over building a US GTM motion — we'd love to hear
