Our people are at the heart of our solutions. They reflect the communities we live in and the world where we do business. Their diversity is our strength. We’re a community of relentless problem solvers that offers the daily opportunity to contribute with your perspective, transform industries and shape the future. Our purpose is simple - to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration. If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.

Dow Thailand Group is looking for a talented professional to join our team as a Business Finance Analyst/Business Finance Partner, based in Bangkok office. We are seeking an agile, analytical, and collaborative Business Finance professional to serve as a trusted strategic partner to the business teams in driving revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability improvement. As a mid‑level role, you will support business leaders by providing financial insight, performance analysis, and structured decision support that enables effective strategy execution.

The role is ideal for someone eager to learn, comfortable working with data and financial models, and motivated to grow as a finance partner with increasing ownership and stakeholder exposure. You will leverage advanced Excel, enterprise data, and emerging AI tools to generate insights, communicate clearly through presentations, and support value‑driven business decisions—under the guidance of a finance leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted finance strategic partner, providing financial insights to support strategy execution and business performance.
  • Prepare and present financial analysis and recommendations to senior managers and functional leaders in decision‑making forums and performance reviews.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses, to support evaluation of business options.
  • Analyze and explain key business value drivers (e.g., pricing, volume, mix, cost structure, productivity) and their impact on financial results.
  • Monitor business performance on an ongoing basis, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Review, validate, and constructively challenge business assumptions underlying forecasts, plans, and future expectations.
  • Support capital planning and investment decision processes through financial and economic analysis.
  • Take ownership of financial analysis for assigned initiatives, including business cases, investment proposals, and value‑creation opportunities, with appropriate alignment and escalation to finance leadership.
  • Support M&A and value‑creation initiatives through financial evaluation and analysis of alternatives.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and cross‑functional teams to ensure strong internal controls and drive continuous improvement, including the use of digital and AI tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3–10 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Finance, Commercial Finance, or Controlling
  • Solid hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business decision-making
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial models; experience working with SAP systems is an advantage
  • Good understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, and cost/performance tracking
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or chemical industries is a plus
  • Exposure to digital finance initiatives, process automation, or business intelligence (BI) tools is preferred
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Thai native speaking

Skills & Capabilities

  • Solid financial analysis and modeling skills; advanced Excel proficiency required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond with appropriate urgency in a dynamic environment.
  • Curious, open‑minded, and eager to learn and grow as a finance partner.
  • Collaborative, proactive team player who works effectively with guidance and increasing independence.
  • Strong interest in leveraging AI and digital tools to enhance financial insights and productivity.

What Success Looks Like:

  • You are recognized as a reliable and trusted finance partner by business stakeholders.
  • Your analysis and insights influence real business decisions, not just reporting outcomes.
  • You continuously strengthen your technical, business, and communication skills while expanding ownership and impact.
  • Success is reflected in decision impact, forecast quality, stakeholder trust, and timely delivery of insights that improve business outcomes.
