As a Business Systems Graduate in the Verizon Ireland Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sustainability group, you will contribute efforts on operational support for the organization and clear application issues. You will work in a cross-functional and cross-organizational environment (including Third party partners) to facilitate and deliver operational resolutions. You will partner with Global Technology Services colleagues when additional assistance is needed to resolve application issues tied to functionality and / or interfaces.What you'll be doing…As a graduate in the Business Systems and Intelligence (BSAI) team, you will be working in the application support team.

  • Understanding operational business challenges across Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sustainability

  • Carrying out data analyses, assisting with interpretation and providing data-driven recommendations

  • Provides consultative insight into business performance, where needed, and suggests areas and methods of improving operations to the business.

  • Implements and oversees analytical approaches and methodologies.

  • Identifying, owning and resolving application fallout errors and driving resolutions to gaps in application functionality

  • Identifying, owning, and Testing functionality on fixes, enhancements or new releases prior to end-user acceptance

  • Creating documentation related to upcoming functionality releases

  • Creating and delivering training to end users

What we are looking for:You'll need to have:

  • Graduated with a degree in Business Information Systems, Technology management Business with Computing, or a related discipline

  • To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland. We are currently unable to support employment permit sponsorship.

  • A related co-op or internship experience, with proven project and work experience (a portfolio is helpful)

  • Exposure to enterprise software systems.

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications

Even Better if you have:

  • Exposure, knowledge or proficiency in SAP application suites (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP) or related systems

  • Experience in system testing

  • Good team player, well organized and self-starter

  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to multitask
