Duties & Role:  

Under the direction of Service Delivery Manager of Service Oriented Architecture and Identity and Access Management (SOA & IdM), the DevOps Engineer will focus on streamlining application delivery and bridging the gap between development and infrastructure:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to fully automate application testing, integration, and delivery.
  • Provision and manage hybrid infrastructure across on-premises environments and the cloud utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Administer container orchestration platforms and collaborate directly with development teams to seamlessly onboard applications into production environments.
  •  Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability and performance.
  • Embed security best practices and compliance controls directly into the deployment pipelines and infrastructure configurations.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and deployment issues, acting as a technical bridge across agile delivery teams

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or automated platform management, including:
  • Strong proficiency in CI/CD, GitOps, pipeline automation, and version control using enterprise tools like GitLab, ArgoCD or Jenkins.
  • Solid experience deploying and administering container workloads and orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2 and Docker.
  • Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, provisioning hybrid resources with Terraform, and automating system configurations with Ansible.
  • Practical knowledge of managing hybrid infrastructure across enterprise virtualization environments (VMware) and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python for automating routine operational tasks and tool integrations.
  • Experience deploying and utilizing observability and industry-standard monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana and ELK.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities with a strong track record of delivering cross-functional work in fast-moving Agile environments.
