Cardiac anesthesiologist opportunity with designated level 1 trauma center in Chicago, IL, serving a diverse patient population on the west side of Chicago. The main campus of this major city hospital is situated next to Douglass Park. Serving a diverse population, the 319-bed facility functions at a swift pace, with a talented and supportive team of surgeons and staff members. Mount Sinai Hospital offers a fast-paced environment with outstanding surgeons and support staff.
Total Rewards
Salary: $460K
Cardiac Stipend: $25K
Sign-on bonus: $50K paid in first payroll

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• TEE proficiency is required
• Completion of Cardiac Fellowship
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
